Your role

The role involves participating in structured training to develop technical skills in process engineering, maintenance, quality control, and project management. Apprentices work closely with experienced professionals to gain practical experience and contribute to plant operations, applying industry best practices for efficient and safe processes.

Medical Examination:

• Short-listed candidates after personal Interviews will be medically examined as per IFFCO’s medical standards before final selection.

Training period:

• Selected candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for one year. It must be clearly understood that this is purely an offer for Apprenticeship Training for one year under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and does not guarantee employment in IFFCO.

Location:

• At any of the IFFCO Plants located in PAN India. However, the position is transferable in any of the existing or future establishments of IFFCO or its subsidiaries at any time.

About you

Qualifications:

• Four Years Full-Time bachelor’s degree in engineering from a University / Institute recognized by UGC/AICTE in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Electronics, and Civil.
• General /OBC candidates having a minimum aggregate of 60% and SC/ST candidates having 55% of marks are eligible to apply. Those candidates who have CGPA scores in BE/B.Tech degrees should convert into percentages while filling out the application form.
• Candidates who have passed their degree in 2021 and thereafter can only apply. Those candidates whose final semester results are expected by August 2024 can also apply
• Candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship training or have job experience for one year or more after attaining the above qualification are not eligible to apply.

Upper age limit:

• 30 years, as on 01st July 2024. (relaxable by 5 years for SCs/STs & by 3 years for OBCs not belonging to creamy layer)

How to apply:

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online using the prescribed Application Form available until 31/07/2024. Applications submitted through other modes will not be considered.

Selection Procedure:

• Eligible candidates will be required to appear for the preliminary Computer Based On-Line Test in an open environment using their resources, computer/laptop with internet facility.
• The candidates short-listed based on their performance in the Preliminary On-line Test, will be called for the Final On-Line Test in the controlled environment at designated centers at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi/NCR, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna.
• The candidates are required to opt for either of two Test Centers in order of their preference out of the centers. Efforts will be made to allow the test center in the candidates' chosen order. Request for change in the test center, once opted, will not be entertained. IFFCO reserves the right to cancel any of these centers; in that eventuality, the candidates will have to appear in the center as the Management decides.
• The candidates who will be short-listed based on their performance in the Final Centre-based test will be called for a personal interview.
