Role Description

The position involves working on the content writing and development aspect of different research projects focused on the key issues related to digital transformation. The candidate will work with faculty supervisor/s.

Responsibilities

  • Literature review, editing, summarizing content, proof-reading, writing and other such activities related to academic research.
  • Work on schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines
  • Work on research reports and other knowledge-based content.
  • Analyze and summarize data and use visualizations to present findings.
  • Review literature after reading academic and research manuscripts.

Requirements

  • Candidates with a Master’s degree in management/ English or social and economic related disciplines are preferred.
  • Candidates with expertise and focus on content development, writing and editing will be preferred.
  • Candidates should be proficient in content authoring and word processing tools. They should be comfortable with creating visualizations from a large dataset.
  • The position requires the applicant to have a research acumen with good English language writing skills as an essential qualification and people who are keen to pursue a PhD, later on, are highly encouraged to apply.

Additional Information

  • Exceptional candidates will also be well versed in secondary data analysis
  • Candidates proficient in running econometrics/statistics models are preferred.
  • Candidates who understand the scientific process, including being comfortable doing a literature review by reading and summarizing research papers will be given preference.
  • Project Tenure: The appointment is initially for 6 months with a potential for extension based on performance.
  • Location: IIMA provides access to the library and computer centre for all Research
  • Assistants. If selected, the candidate is expected to manage their own accommodation, outside the IIMA campus which is centrally located within the city of Ahmedabad.
  • Reporting: The selected Research Assistant will be reporting to Prof. Pankaj Setia, Chairperson, Centre for Digital Transformation.
  • Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with the qualification and experience of the candidate
