Your role

An Academic Associate's primary responsibility is to provide teaching support to the faculty.

In addition, AAs would also get an opportunity to assist Area faculty in ongoing research projects and get research exposure across a wide range of fields such as Business Analytics, Big Data, Operations Research, Time Series Analysis, and Supply Chain Management, amongst others.

Training & development

IIM Bangalore, Centres of Excellence have been established within the Institute to focus on new and emerging areas of research and education. These ‘virtual' centres draw on resources from their stakeholders and interact with them to enhance core competencies.

• Duration: Initially for one year and extendable to a maximum period of three years.

Salary & benefits

An all-inclusive annual stipend for this role can range from INR 3.6 Lakhs to INR 4.32 Lakhs plus an additional housing allowance of Rs. 8,000/- based on the educational qualification and experience of the applicant. (Source: IIMB)

About you

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Statistics or Operations Research or a closely related field (Industrial Engineering, Applied Math, Scientific Computing, etc.); an MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from reputed business schools will also be considered.
