IIT Bhilai is presently housed in its transit campus at Government Engineering College (GEC) Raipur, Chhattisgarh. IIT Bhilai offers Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Science (MSc), and Doctoral programs (Ph.D.) in various departments. Your role

IIT Bhilai is looking for Regular PG-level students who are pursuing their degree from a University / Institution within India (primarily from universities, colleges, and private academic institutions) to join their research teams.

You will join the team as a Research intern and work on a project involving - the "Development and characterization of advanced structural materials".

Salary & benefits

There is no salary/honorarium component.

• To and fro travel expenditures between the place of residence and IIT Bhilai, accommodation and food expenditures shall be covered.
• Duration: 2 Months

Culture & vibe

IIT Bhilai and IIT Bhilai Innovation and Technology Foundation (IBITF) host a 2-Day Hackathon event. The event focused on spurring creativity and innovation among the participating students while recognizing such ideas/solutions for real-world application and deployment. The value of technology is not intrinsic but derived from its ability to solve individual, organizational, or societal problems. Hackathon events are of great significance to the student community in gaining a practical understanding of the real-world application of their academic learning. They believe such events will ensure the inculcation of innovative skills and instill a mindset to tackle and structure ambiguous and complex problems while deriving solutions.

About you

To apply for this position, you must:

• MTech, ME, MS, Ph.D., or equivalent students who are pursuing their degree from University / Institution within India (primarily from universities, colleges, private 
  academic institutions) in the discipline of Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgy, or relevant discipline.
• Desirable: Having a strong orientation toward science and engineering research
• Age limit: 30 years

  • All academic mark sheets/degrees starting from class X.
