Your role

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of JRF/Project Assistant in a SERB
funded research project with the following details:

You will join the team as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF), or Project Assistant and work on a project involving - the "Study of combinatorial properties of graphs using topological tools".

Salary & benefits

Junior Research Fellow:

• Up to INR 31,000 + 16% HRA per month 
• To applicants who are selected through (a)National Eligibility Test-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through a national level examination conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions. 

Project Assistant:

• Up to INR 28000 per month (for others who do not fall under JRF).

About you

To apply for these positions, you must have the following eligibility criteria:

Essential qualifications:

• M.Sc. (Mathematics) from a recognized institute/university or statutory body 

Desirable:

• Preference will be given to candidates having CSIR/UGC JRF-NET/GATE or working experience relevant to the project.

Duration:

• Initially for 1 year and can be extended for 1 more year or up to the termination of the project subject to a satisfactory annual progress review.
