Your role

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of JRF and RA in an IITB COMET Foundation-funded research project with the following details:

You will join the team as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF), and Research Associate (RA) and work on a project involving - "Smart Radio Environments, Implementation, and deployment for targeted uses-cases".

Salary & benefits

Junior Research Fellow:

• Up to INR 31,000 + 16% HRA per month

Research Associate:

• Up to INR 47,000 + 16% HRA per month

About you

To apply for these positions, you must have the following eligibility criteria:

Essential qualifications for JRF:

• Graduate in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation with at least 1 year of industry/research experience (or) M.Tech/ME/MS in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation or related areas.
• Qualified in any of the following National eligibility tests/exams:
  • GATE
  • CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship)
  • National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc
• Age limit: 35 years

Essential qualifications for RA:

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree (or)
• Having 3 years of research, teaching, and design and development experience after ME/MTech with at least one research paper in SCI journal.
• Age limit: 45 years

Desirable:

• Experience in any of the following is desired. Embedded systems, Analog and digital board design, fabrication, antenna design, testing and integration, knowledge in signal processing, communication systems, and wireless systems, Programming experience in C, C++, Python, MATLAB, and Network programming (using REST APIs).

Duration:

• The initial appointment will be given for six months and is extendable based on performance till the project completion (Total project duration of 4 years).
