Your role

Applications are invited from talented, motivated candidates for the research projects in the Department of Heritage Science & Technology at IIT Hyderabad. 

You will join the team as a Junior Research Fellow and work on a project involving: "Takshashila Center for multidisciplinary Heritage Science & Technology".

Description of the job:

• Use of Panini Ashtadhyayi to study the semantics/exposition of Programming Languages with a view to producing pedagogical material targeted toward the audience based on Indic thinking.

About you

To apply for this position, you must have the following eligibility criteria:

Essential Qualification:

• BTech/BE in CS/ECE/EE/IT disciplines.
• MTech in any related discipline (or) MSc in Mathematics/Physics or a discipline closely related to the research topic.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with Panini Ashtadhyayi.
• Familiarity with the theory of programming languages and their paradigms.
• Prior experience in software with different programming languages

Appointment period:

• 1 year (potentially extendable to two more years based on performance and availability of funds)
