Your role

Applications are invited from talented, motivated candidates for the research projects in the Department of Biomedical Engineering of the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) in collaboration with the Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering (MSME) dept. of IIT Hyderabad.

You will join the team as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow (PDF) and work on a project involving :

Name of two Research Projects: 

• Project 1: Lipo-polymeric Nano drug-delivery system in a defect-specific 3D Printed Cartilage: An in vivo analysis in an osteoarthritis Rat model
• Project 2: Development of 3D-bio printed artificial pancreas with nanosensors for real-time monitored insulin release: In vitro model replacing animal models for diabetic treatment

Name of the Sponsoring Agency: ICMR, Govt. of India & IITH.

Salary & benefits

Up to INR 38,000/- to 50,000/- per month as per research field and experience

About you

To apply for this position, you must have the following eligibility criteria:

Essential Qualifications:

• PhD in (Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Biotechnology, Chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent Biosciences degrees) with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA;

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of 3D printing or stem cell culture or diabetes-related works is encouraged apply.
• Age: Not more than 33 years
