IIT Kanpur's Electrical Engineering department is looking for a PhD. students to join their research teams.

You will join the team as a Project Post-Doctoral Fellow and work on a project involving the Complex Defence Object Recognition and Autonomous Handling in Unstructured and Noisy Outdoor Environment”.

Salary Ranges from INR 50000/ 55000/ 60000 (Consolidated Salary) per month, depending upon qualifications & experience.

About you

To apply for this position, you must:

• Have a PhD degree
• Excellent track record and publications/ patents in a research area relevant to the sponsored project.
• Duration in PhD degree after three years will be considered as research experience.

To be an attractive candidate, you should have knowledge and research experience in one or more of the relevant areas.

• Specialization in the field having experience in 3D localization and environment mapping, 3D object recognition, robotics, force closure and tactile sensing, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision.
• A candidate having direct experience in "Complex Defence Object Recognition and Autonomous Handling in Unstructured and Noisy Outdoor Environment" would be preferred.
