Your role

IIT Kharagpur's School of Medical Science and Technology is looking for Ph.D. students to join their research teams.

You will join the team as a Research Associate and work on a project involving -  "Fabrication of a Wash-Free Electrochemical Lab-on-a-Chip for Point-of-Care Early Diagnostics: Simultaneous Detection of Multiple Protein Markers in Women with Rheumatoid Arthritis(WFE)"

Salary & benefits

Consolidated pay is up to INR 47,000 per month, depending upon qualifications & experience.

About you

To apply for this position, you have the following eligibility criteria:

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. The RA is expected to have a strong background in biosensor technology with a sound knowledge of electrochemistry/immunology or electrical engineering and a Ph.D. degree in related subjects.
• Note: The Research Associate (RA) may leave the Temporary Project Position during the one-year tenure but he/she has to provide at least three months advance notice to PI/SRIC.
• Be no more than 35 years old when you apply (Relaxable up to 5 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped / Visually Handicapped and female applicants.)

To be an attractive candidate, you should have knowledge and research experience in one or more of the relevant areas.

• NanoBiosensors, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Microfluidics, Microfabrication, Analytical Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Lab-on-a-chip, Point of Care devices.
