Your role

IIT Kharagpur's Mechanical Engineering department is looking for research students to join their R&D teams.

You will join the team as a Research Associate and work on a project involving - the " Development of Porous Interbody Cage for Lumbar Spinal Fusion using Biomechanical Analysis and Digital Manufacturing(ILD)".

Salary & benefits

Consolidated pay is up to INR 47,000 per month, depending upon qualifications & experience.

About you

To apply for this position, you have the following eligibility criteria:

Qualifications:

• First-class B.E. / B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering and first-class M.E. / M.Tech degree in Applied Mechanics / Engineering Mechanics / Mechanical Engineering/ Biomedical Engineering from a recognized Institute / University, GATE score required.
• Ph.D. or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching, and design and development experience after ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in SCI journal.
• Be no more than 35 years old when you apply (Relaxable up to 5 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped / Visually Handicapped and female applicants.)

Relevant Experience:

• Research experience in the field of Orthopaedic Biomechanics with publications.
• Research experience in Spine Biomechanics would be preferred.
