Your role

Applications are invited for the temporary post of Junior Executive for IPM Cell in the Centre for IC&SR, IIT Madras.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• This position entails assisting in operations and administrative work at the Intellectual Property Management Cell of IIT Madras.
• Receiving and docketing Invention Disclosure Forms (IDF)/ Intellectual Property (IP) related documents in the database. Tracking of IDF documents and following up with inventors for completion of IDF submission.
• Coordinating with vendors for service requests of IP filings, tracking filing activities before the actual timeline, and docketing the patent applications.
• Coordinating with inventors to receive/compile statutory forms, approvals, and signatures required for processing of the application.
• Maintaining internal database/tracker of in-flow and out-flow of physical documents.
• Maintaining records, tracking of documents/ papers sent to other sections for
  approvals, and after approval dissemination of the papers to the concerned person.
• Supporting the team in handling invoices, tracking the invoices received, and dispatching of documents to the vendors. Follow up with the accounts team for clearing payment confirmation to vendors.
• Scanning, and dispatching documents to the party and internal teams of ICSR. Coordinating with the team for meeting arrangements, conference works, and workshop programs.
• Additional responsibilities allocated by reporting manager, based on the requirement

Salary & benefits

The salary ranges from INR 16,000 to INR 50,000/- Per month ( Source: IIT Madras).
