Training, development & rotations
ISRO conducts one-year training in the following Trades with B.E./B. Tech, Diploma in Engineering, and Diploma in Commercial Practice under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Amendment Act of 1973,
Candidates who acquired a Degree / Diploma from any recognized University / Technical Board coming under the Southern Region of Board of Apprenticeship Training (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Puducherry) for the training year 2022-23.
The period of training will be 12 months commencing from the execution of the contract of Apprenticeship.
Selected candidates must execute a contract of Apprenticeship training as per the provision of the Apprentices Act, 1961, and Amendment Act of 1973.
Salary & benefits
The Monthly Stipend for Graduate Engineering Apprentices is INR 9000/- per month (Source: ISRO)
The Monthly Stipend for Technician Apprentices and Diploma in Commercial Practice is INR 8000/- per month (Source: ISRO).

Pass in First Class B.E/B.Tech in the respective field with not less than 60% marks/ 6.32 CGPA.
Discipline: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering Industrial Engineering, Fire Technology & Safety.
Technician Apprentices:
Pass in First Class Diploma in Engg. in the respective field with not less than 60% marks / 6.32 CGPA.
Pass in Diploma in Commercial Practice with not less than 60% marks / 6.32 CGPA awarded by a recognized Board.
Discipline: Diploma in Commercial Practice

The candidates are advised to upload the following documents in jpg/jpeg/png format, for further processing and shortlisting of the candidates:
Degree/Diploma Mark sheet certificate of all Semesters/Years in one file not exceeding 1 MB.
All correspondence with candidates shall be done through email only.
Candidates should enroll in the NATS portal and provide their enrolment ID (Apprenticeship Registration No.) in the UMANG portal while applying for Apprenticeship training. The same Apprenticeship Registration No. should be used by the candidate at the time of joining for registration under the Apprentices Act, of 1961.
While enrolling in one’s candidature, the candidate is required to upload a Degree/Diploma Certificate (as applicable) and valid IDs issued by the government. After the successful registration of the application over the portal, an enrolment number will be generated and allotted to the applicant.
Upon online registration, applicants will be provided with an Online Registration Number which should be carefully preserved for future reference. Candidates are also advised to take a printout of the online application and submit the same at the time of joining if selected. No need to send it by post.
Selection Process:
Empanelment/shortlisting of candidates will be on the basis of information furnished in the online application.
The consolidated applications will be screened subsequently and selection panels will be drawn based on the academic scores of the candidates at the Degree / Diploma level.
The induction of apprentices against the vacant training positions will be made strictly based on their position in the panel. Only selected candidates will be informed through an offer letter by email.
