Your role

Internship Scheme and Student Project Trainee Scheme:

Master Control Facility, one of the leading Centers of ISRO, provides opportunities for the student community to carry out Internships as well as project work as part of their academic curriculum. Internship opportunity is provided to UG/PG/PhD students.

The period of Internship will be for a minimum period of 15 days and a maximum period of 45 days.

Students will be allotted internship and projects work at Master Control Facility based on the availability of projects, facilities and suitability of the student's course to the work carried out at Master Control Facility.

Normally, the allotment of the Internship will be in August to October of every year. On consideration, the internship may be allowed in other months also based on available resources due to Mission Critical Activities.

Training & development

Students will be provided opportunities for internships at organizations to help them get exposure to the practical side of learning.

Benefits

The interns will not be provided any kind of financial assistance like stipends, transport, and accommodation.

  • The Organisation provides medical facilities (Contributory Health Service Scheme) for self and dependents, free transport facilities/transport allowance, subsidized canteen facilities, and housing accommodation subject to availability, in addition to the facilities available to other Central Government Staff.
  • The Centre has a well-maintained Central School and a well-stocked Library that provide an excellent opportunity for professional development.

About you

Following are the guidelines for pursuing an Internship in MCF:

  • The candidate should be a Citizen of India.
  • The candidate should be pursuing a UG/PG/PhD from a recognized University/Institution (India/Abroad).
  • OR
  • The candidate should have completed UG/PG from a recognized University/Institution, seeking an internship opportunity within 6 months from the date of completion of the Course. The candidate should be a student enrolled in a regular on-campus program in a recognized University/Institution.
  • The candidate should have completed UG/PG/PhD as a regular on-campus student.
  • Students studying in the 5th Semester or 3rd Year onwards are eligible to apply.

Following are the guidelines for pursuing a Project Trainee in MCF:

Opportunity will be provided for UG/PG/PhD students to carry out their final year/semester project work as per the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

Degree, Eligibility Criteria, and Duration:

  • BE/ BTech - Should have completed 6th semester - Minimum 45 days
  • ME/ MTech - Should have completed 1st semester - Minimum 120 days
  • MSc - The student should have completed 1st semester - Minimum 120 days
  • The students should have possessed an aggregate of a minimum of 60% or a CGPA of 6.32 on a scale of 10.
