Your Role
As a Designer III, you will create the look, layout, feel, functionality, and features of the websites we are developing. You will work on designing new websites and on enhancing our existing web experience. You will work closely with our creative directors, project managers, strategists, and other design team members to create brand design systems and design websites for marketing purposes.
A Day in the Life
- Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
- Create high-fidelity and responsive UI mockups and interactive prototypes
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
- Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and other stakeholders
- Work with product managers to collect user feedback and improve the UX
- Hand-off to engineering and work with them to ensure pixel-perfect design implementation
- Getin’ your feet wet with HTML5, and newer experiments in CSS3
What You Need
- Excellent UI and UX design skills and a passion for people-centered design
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Understanding of branding and style guides
- Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques, and technologies
- Basic understanding of front-end development
- An eye for composition, color, and typography
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An ability to tell compelling stories about your designs and present your work with confidence
- Must have strong skills in tools like Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InvsionApp, or equivalent application(s)
