Job Overview:

The HSE Intern will support the HSE team in promoting and maintaining a safe work environment at the solar sites. This role involves assisting in developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for safety and environmental stewardship and a desire to gain hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
• Participate in safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Support the delivery of HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
• Help in the preparation of HSE reports, presentations, and documentation.
• Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the O&M team to identify and mitigate environmental impacts.
• Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all work sites.

About

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Interest in renewable energy and sustainability is a plus.
