Your role

The Operations Intern will work closely with the Operations Manager and field technicians to support the day-to-day operations of solar energy systems. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the renewable energy industry and contribute to the success of our company.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules for solar energy systems.
• Conduct site visits with field technicians to inspect solar installations and identify potential issues.
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems related to solar inverters, panels, and other system components.
• Support data collection and analysis efforts to monitor the performance of solar assets and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Assist in the coordination of service calls and repairs, ensuring timely response and resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist in the development of reports and documentation related to O&M activities.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in renewable energy and sustainability.
• Basic understanding of solar energy systems and components is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
