Your role

Inside this Business Group:

The Network & Edge Group brings together their network connectivity and edge into a business unit chartered to drive technology end-to-end product leadership. Its leadership Ethernet, Switch, IPU, Photonics, Network, and Edge portfolio is comprised of leadership products critically important to its customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Graduate Intern in a vibrant Network and Edge SW platform validation team that promotes innovation and growth.
  • Intern will be engaged in various aspects of platform validation- pre-silicon validation until Power ON, post-silicon validation, end-to-end use case validation, platform enabling and debugging, etc for server and client NEX products.
  • Develops, modifies, and executes test plans.
  • Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.
  • Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software/HW/Platform features.
  • Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determines root causes of failures, and recommends corrective action.
  • Consult with development engineers in the resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
  • Debugs products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.

About you

Qualifications:

  • Graduate intern with SW/ Embedded focus in Computer Science/Embedded Engineering. Should be enrolled in College during the entire internship period.
  • Has college project experience working on projects with
  • System level knowledge to understand SW/HW design system-revalidation, root-cause of complex bugs
  • Knowledge of SW/ HW debug tools
  • Good programming skills in C/C++/Python/scripting languages
  • Good understanding of OS and kernel systems.
  • Understanding complex software for new technologies for accelerators related to ML/CV/AI will be an advantage

Other qualifications include:

  • Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and with others in cross-site organizations.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
