Job Description

The Candidate will be part of the Design Enablement group which develops microprocessors with Intel advanced process technologies and build PDK releases. In this role candidate is expected to enable the UNIX environment, set up tools, and maintain a database for projects across all process nodes. This role involves setting up and maintaining/supporting the design environment, database, various design health metrics, and compute management for the projects. The candidate should continuously adopt innovative methods for productivity improvement. The role also provides opportunities to bring in efficiencies and innovations in this domain that will have a potential impact corporate-wide.

Qualifications

The candidate should have a master's in computer science or Electronics Engineering from a reputed institution and is expected to work on environment and database development and support for multiple projects. He will be responsible for setting up and maintaining/supporting the design environment, database, various design health metrics, and compute management for the projects. Skills: Expert in Linux, Perl, TCL/TK, and Shell scripting, good command of MySQL and configuration management databases. Design sync database knowledge will be added advantage, excellent debug and analytical skills, good command of written and verbal communication skills VLSI domain knowledge is an added advantage.
