Your role

Job description:

This position is for a Graduate technical intern in Intel's XEON Platform Integration and Validation organization. You will be contributing towards the success of key technologies for their Datacenter customers.

About the team:

Their team interacts with Scalable and advanced-performance Xeon server product lines. They work in pre and post-Silicon environments (simulation/N-1) and with open/closed chassis systems. You will work with other teams across Intel including hardware and software architects, silicon design and debug teams, and software/firmware organizations.

Broad understanding of multiple system areas improving post-silicon test content and providing feedback for future programs. Their Security and Manageability team is responsible for End-to-End validation strategy, test content development, debug, execution coordination, and customer co-validation for Intel's datacenter platform validation of Security and Manageability technologies.

DPEA enables that data centre which is the underpinning for every data-driven service, from artificial intelligence to 5G to high-performance computing, and DCG delivers the products and technologies—spanning software, processors, storage, I/O, and networking solutions—that fuel cloud, communications, enterprise, and government data centres around the world.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining Intel platform validation process and methodologies.
  • Developing and maintaining platform validation test plans and BKMs for technologies and products.
  • Defining evaluation scope and coverage to meet the quality goal of Intel server products.
  • Drive sightings for closure by proactive hands-on work and/or coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Leading complex issue debugging, risk assessment, and retrospective analysis.
  • Development or deployment of object-oriented software automation test scripts in Python.

About you

Minimum requirements:

Candidate should possess a B Tech degree and shall be pursuing his master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or relevant technology.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated experience in Python scripting using an object-oriented approach.
  • Must have good knowledge of processor and system architecture.
  • Proficient English verbal and written communication skills.

  • Work in a team environment, across geos, and balance and prioritize for you and your team.
