Your role

As a Research Associate Trainee - Synthesis, you'll develop and purify chemical intermediates for drug discovery, using techniques like chromatography and spectroscopy. You'll apply your knowledge of organic chemistry and collaborate with a team to advance projects, all while ensuring safety and effective communication in a dynamic research setting.

Responsibilities

• Synthesis, purification, and characterization of chemical intermediates.
• Deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery.
• Work collaboratively in a team to drive chemistry projects forward.
• Excellent knowledge of basic organic chemistry with mechanism.
• Good knowledge of Name Reactions & functional group transformation.
• Good knowledge of molarity, normality, and equivalency.
• Practical experience in thin-layer chromatography, column purification, and extraction.
• Good understanding of NMR, IR, and mass spectrometry.
• Interest in adapting and knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
• Enthusiasm to work in a dynamic research environment.
• Good Soft & Scientific Communication skills.

About you

Qualification

• M.Sc. in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related field or M. Pharma (Specialized in Organic Synthesis) with 0-1 years’ project experience.
• 0 to 1-year experience
