Your role

As a Trainee Research Associate, you'll synthesize, purify, and characterize chemical intermediates, deliver novel chemical entities for drug discovery, and collaborate with the team to advance chemistry projects, utilizing your excellent knowledge of basic organic chemistry and mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

• Synthesis, purification, and characterization of chemical intermediates.
• Deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery.
• Work collaboratively in a team to drive chemistry projects forward.
• Excellent knowledge of basic organic chemistry with mechanism.
• Good knowledge of Name Reactions & functional group transformation.
• Good knowledge of molarity, normality, and equivalency.
• Practical experience in thin-layer chromatography, column purification, and extraction.
• Good understanding of NMR, IR, and mass spectrometry.
• Interest in adapting and knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
• Enthusiasm to work in a dynamic research environment.
• Good Soft & Scientific Communication skills.

About you

Qualification:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related field or M. Pharma (Specialized in Organic Synthesis) with 0-1 years’ project experience.
