About the Internship

The school support internship is designed to allow participants a chance to work with a diverse set of government schools in Maharashtra in the areas of system setup, system training, and support. The person is the main point of contact for a school for any system-related queries and support requests.

As part of the program, we expect individuals to

• Assist teachers to help students learn better and at the same time,  learn how to use learning data to make better decisions about their class and every individual student.
• Assist students to learn better by following along at home with the learning in class
• Get schools ready to begin using technology to improve learning outcomes

Key responsibilities

• Onboarding of new schools, which will involve setting up school-related accounts in the system, completing the curriculum mapping,  creating communication tools with the school,  getting details from the school for handover,  conducting initial training of school,  teacher and parents,  and any other activity related to getting schools to start using the Kidlet system.
• Ongoing communication with teachers of assigned schools to ensure optimal usage of the Kidlet system.
• Providing technical support to teachers and parents for use of the Kidlet system and trouble-shooting all non-tech related problems

Required Skills 

• Very strong communication skills in English and Hindi. Being able to understand and/or speak Marathi will be an added bonus
• Good with managing lots of data, and meticulous with keeping track of it
• Ability to understand, learn and work with new technologies4
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate, build and maintain strong working relationships with others from diverse backgrounds and perspectives in professional life.
