Your role

• Review individual/group applications for insurance to evaluate the degree of risk involved and determine acceptance of applications.
• Underwriting applications within the Financial Limits allotted to the post and process applications of higher sum assured.
• Following up with internal departments for closure on pending issues
• Verify the findings generated by the automated underwriting system and additional conditions depending on underwriting guidelines and overall audit of auto underwriting cases with the necessary feedback to relevant teams.
• Maintenance of data and generation of reports
• Referral of cases to reinsurance and negotiation for better reinsurance decisions
• Resolution of revival /Policy servicing requests from an underwriting point of view
