Your role

Key Responsibilities:

• Discussed planned activity and its execution during the day with contractor supervisor/workmen.
• Prioritise activities and sequence within different contractors as per master plan/OBP schedule
• Ensure receipt of PO and its correctness to contractors.
• Issuance of Drg/Procedures/weld plans according to PO
• Ensure the right pool of manpower available to the contractor according to the assigned job 
• Ensure and approve the daily work permit system of contractors as per the nature of the activity
• Provide inputs to the PMG team for the balanced loading of contractors.
• Approve monthly billing of contractors according to PLM progress
• Receipt and record of incoming material/assembly/Machined parts
• Proper preservation of received/installed Equipment as per OEM guidelines 
• Ensure the material full kit before starting of activity.
• Prepare a plan along with the contractor to meet target dates.
• Daily monitoring of work progress
• Weekly meeting to discuss status and concerns to achieve weekly targeted dates in contractor review meeting (Every Friday)
• Ensure daily WMS round and get it reviewed by the Shop in charge
• Discussed TBT with contractor workmen and Supervisor every Wednesday
• Take pick-up rounds in the shop and yard area every Saturday
• Refer welder master list for Welder Qualification
• Refer to SAS (Store Automation System) for consumption of weld consumables
• Introduce new contractors into the system for consumable issuance, Inspection calls
