Job Description
We are looking for a HR Intern who is passionate and wants to learn more about both Compensation and HR Analytics within the McAfee people success organization. This role will report to director of Compensation & Analytics within the total rewards team.
This is a remote position in India. We will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
About the Role
- Help drive key Compensation and Analytic initiatives and programs
- Assist in the program coordination and tactical execution of compensation programs
- Partner with the organization to coordinate, track and measure results of our initiatives
- Participates in strategic initiatives and reporting results
- Earn trust across a various level and establish yourself as a trusted subject matter expert
- Exhibit a proven track record of innovation
- Measure programs and impact for ROI
- Support special projects and other responsibilities
Analytics & Tools
- Support HR analytics and enable effective decision-making by providing recommendations on metrics
- Create and continuously enhance client dashboards and dashboard delivery
- Drive interpretation and presentation of data among the People Success (HR) and Compensation and Analytics team members
- Prepare reports, presentations, and infographics to assist with weekly, monthly. quarterly and annual programs
- Collaborate with leadership, team, IT and People Tools to create and automate tools, technology, and processes to ensure efficient, scalable and cost-effective solutions
- Create consistent and repeatable data and presentation templates to assist with global people success (HR) and compensation programs
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by business leaders + oversee related projects
- Work effectively across functions, geographies and business units on projects and effectively communicate and present internal and external data
- Manage multiple demands of both planned and unplanned project requests while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality
About You
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines, while always paying very close attention to detail
- Ability to follow-through and meet deadlines effectively and efficiently
- Ability to develop quick turn-around, practical recommendations based on data and research to inform strategic decisions in a fast-moving environment
- Functional knowledge of Workday HR modules including core HR and compensation, or a like large HRIS, to extract and leverage data, to arrive at actionable insights
- Able to create custom reports using various tools including but not limited to Power BI, Workday, MS Excel etc., including combining multiple data sources, complex formulas, pivot tables, v-look-ups, and charts.
