Your role

You will be responsible for the following:

  • You will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, tax computations and returns, tax estimates, or provisions including deferred tax calculations for 3-5 Group entities.
  • You will ensure compliance with IFRS and equivalent accounting standards accepted in respective countries.
  • Providing information for the purposes of audit/ assessment and liaison with the statutory auditors to discuss audit issues.
  • You will be supporting the process for the compilation of book-to-tax differences for all McKinsey entities with a view to computing the current and deferred tax.
  • Accumulating non-deductible items for the purposes of preparing corporate tax calculations to ensure compliance with local tax laws in respective countries. 
  • You will be responsible for understanding the transfer pricing charges of the Firm.
  • Corresponding with office accountants for information required in the process.
  • Reviewing the Balance Sheet reconciliations for accounts (Bank Reconciliations, Prepaid expenses, accrued employee benefits, and other expenses).
  • Preparation of GL Accounts reconciliation for statutory reporting and audit process, including detailed review of Corporate Tax and VAT accounts.
  • Preparing and processing tax journals. Documentation of processes followed, and work performed.

About you

To be an attractive candidate you must have the following qualification and desired key skills;

  • Chartered Accountant with 0-2 years (post-qualification).
  • Accounting and reconciliation experience in a reputed MNC or an accounting firm is desirable.
