Who You'll Work With
You will be based in our Gurgaon, India office as part of our HR team within McKinsey Knowledge Center India Pvt. Ltd. You will report to the manager of human resources in Gurgaon and work in close collaboration with other HR colleagues.
McKinsey Knowledge Center India Pvt. Ltd. consists of approximately 1500 colleagues who serve the global firm across many paths such as Client Capabilities Network, technology & development, finance, corporate tax, executive assistant and HR/people functions among various others.
What You'll Do
- You will coordinate key HR/benefit programs and processes across topics in a given geography, ensure compliance with all legal requirements and support risk management.
- In this role, you will serve as a point of contact for colleagues who require assistance in various areas within the employee lifecycle.
- You will be responsible for various day-to-day people-related processes in Gurgaon by collaborating with multiple stakeholders from other locations, functions and service lines.
- You will be responsible for end-to-end HR reporting including developing and maintaining periodic and ad-hoc reports on employee data and metrics, analysis of business requests and translation of business requirements into effective and impactful dashboards/reports.
- You will respond to a variety of first-level HR-related data/reporting inquiries from designated HR teams and business leaders.
- You will work towards enhancing employee experience by owning and ensuring the availability and integrity of data across all critical areas of the employee life cycle such as onboarding, benefits administration, engagement and exit.
- You will also be handling critical areas of the employee life cycle such as mobility, leave management, etc., and participating in various month-end activities. You will manage our people systems, conduct compliance audits and data processing.
- You will also develop and maintain HR data records including managing active and inactive employee files and support for storage of records.
Qualifications
- Master's degree preferably in HR
- 2+ years of professional experience in HR
- Exposure to HR systems and labour law is a plus
- Proficiency in MS office tools such as Excel; proficiency in Tableau is an advantage
- Experience using reporting tools for the extraction and analysis of data
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
- Strong ownership evident through responsibility and accountability for end results
- Meticulous, keen attention to details and highly organized
- Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate good judgment on when/how to escalate issues
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
