Who You'll Work With

You’ll be based in our office in either Poznan, Tampa or San Jose and be part of our McKinsey Analytics practice and will support McKinsey partnership with SparkBeyond, an artificial intelligence solutions company. The team consists of 4 leaders, supported by a range of data experts. You will also be working with broader analytics leadership and the practice management community.

What You'll Do

You will support the partnership with all administrative tasks, mostly related to finance, staffing, external workers management, reach and relevance and community building. 

In this role you’ll be responsible for controlling our books, P&L, AP, AR, management of government official documents such as tax exemptions, withholding tax applications, etc. Since SparkBeyond is an external entity, we rely on the expertise of their data scientists for many of our client engagements. You will administer this external workforce e.g. hiring them on the firm’s external workers systems, keeping their paperwork and access to the different repositories/platforms, controlling the financial aspect of their contract etc is responsibility of the administrator/coordinator. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating the pipeline of studies, often being expected to source leads for potential engagement in the firm’s various internal channels.

Qualifications

  • University degree 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to find opportunities for improvements and streamlining processes and to creatively problem-solve for solutions is a must
  • Self-directed initiative taking and high level of independence is required
  • Experience with basic staff administration processes, notion of outsourced workforce management is a plus
  • MS Excel advanced user level 
  • Ability to read, understand and analyze finance/accounting related documents/tables/charts. 
  • Excellent organizational skills; experience with maintaining different repositories is preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn to use new tools
