As Deputy Manager - Taxation, you will be one among the 50+ professionals working in domains such as Financial Reporting, Finance Operations, Business Finance, Treasury Management, and Taxation. The team consists of Chartered Accountants, Business experts, and Engineers, who have previously worked for internationally renowned organizations.

About The Role

As Deputy Manager - Taxation, you are going to be involved in extensive coordination with internal and external stakeholders of the Farmiso team. You will ensure that we and relevant business partners are tax compliant. We don’t need to explain how crucial your role in doing this will be to us!

Besides, you will also build processes and systems to enable faster, more efficient systems to handle tax matters. You will work with stakeholders to ensure that all the tax processes are in place. You will close critical problems in record time and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area, delivering quality tax services that will increase the company's reputation.

What You Will Do

• Handle direct and indirect tax compliances end-to-end at an organizational level
• Handle new registration requirements, notices, assessment, and GST disputes
• Build best practices, process implementation, and adoption of tax positions for new business verticals
• Conduct review of monthly accounting, management reports from a tax perspective
• Properly study, research, and close issues within the strict deadlines set
• Handle end-to-end tax compliance, structure, and review of Farmiso’s business
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
• Closely monitor how well teams are following set systems and processes

What You Will Need

• Certification as a Chartered Accountant with min 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience handling compliances of multiple GST registrations
• Current exposure in GST/Income tax is a must
• Expertise in working with data on spreadsheets
• Familiarity with the anomalies of cross charge required under GST
• Strong ability to interpret and influence policymaking
• Experience in an e-commerce Company/startup will be preferred
• Prior experience with ERP will be an added advantage
