About the role 

As Assistant Manager – Finance (Farmiso), you will handle timely payments processing of suppliers and customers of Farmiso as per the defined cycle. On a typical day, you will ensure all relevant deductions (business and statutory related) are in place prior to payment processing. You will handle any payment-related queries and finalize books and accounting at month-ends.

You will work with the Business and Finance teams for accurate preparation of MIS. You will also work with the Taxation team for ensuring statutory compliance. Ultimately, you will be responsible for getting audits closed and preparing key MIS reports needed for management review and due diligence.

What you will do

✔ Conduct monthly book closure activity and MIS reconciliation with the Business Finance Team

✔ Lead a team of 2-3 members to conduct daily operations

✔ Improve revenues and profitability by analyzing daily payments to the customer

✔ Ensure all payments related queries raised by stakeholders are resolved on a timely basis

✔ Ensure right statutory deductions are made on time and deposited in consultation with the Tax team

✔ Liaise with Internal and External Auditor and ensure timely closure of audits

✔ Provide required data needed for timely completion of due diligence

✔ Identify scope for automation of required processes

✔ Work closely with the Product team for its development of automated processes

What you will need

✔ Certification as a Chartered Accountant

✔ 0-1 year of post-qualification experience

✔ Proficient in MS Office and Tally

✔ Ability to deal with ambiguity and ever-changing needs

✔ Strong analytical rigor and problem-solving skills

✔ Working knowledge of SQL is an added advantage
