Job Description: 

Meragi Events is seeking a motivated and creative Decor Intern to join their team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience developing the decor category. As a Decor Intern, you will work closely with their category team to assist in pricing, organizing, and setting up the decorations catalog. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support and Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support various category initiatives and projects. 
• Business Catalogue Management: Assist in the creation, maintenance, and updating of the business catalog, ensuring accuracy and relevance of product information. 
• Conduct thorough market research and collaborate with vendors to understand industry trends, material offerings, and pricing strategies. 
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and innovations. 
• Support the category management team with ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed. 

About you

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Hospitality, Event Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. 
• 0-3 years of experience in a related role. 
• Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of numbers and data interpretation. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience in market research or category management. 
• Knowledge of industry-specific materials and pricing. 
• Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking
