Your role

This is a multiple position in the accounting and the audit team and the responsibilities are as follows for each:

Auditing

• Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation. Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation. Completes audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings.
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financials
• Responsible for the Financial compliances and Audits as per IND AS
• GL account's review along with Monthly, Quarterly, and yearly balance sheet and P&L
• Fluctuation Analysis.
• Ensure compliance with IND AS Accounting
• Understanding of IND AS ECL calculations, Effective interest rate workings, etc.
• Liasioning with Auditors & timely completion of Audits: Statutory, Internal, GST, Tax Audit, etc.

Accounting

• Ensuring all expenses are correctly accounted for and provided in the books of accounts and all necessary taxes are deducted on the same if applicable.
• Ensure periodic review of Accounts Receivable and identify and flag problem accounts to the Accounts Management team and escalate as appropriate.
• Ensure prudent and accepted norms are followed for Revenue recognition and maintain detailed reconciliations of all related Revenue accounts.
• Manage the month-end books of accounts closing process as per the month-end calendar for all countries/entities.
• Ensure periodic general ledger scrutiny and reconciliation of all Balance sheet Accounts (including all Bank reconciliations) every month.
• Provide timely and accurate MIS /MMR as per the laid out calendar to the Management.
• Ensure all books of Accounts are maintained accurately and timely as per the Accepted Accounting Procedures.
• Ensure that statutory audits and Internal Audit are completed with NIL qualifications within prescribed time limits.
