• In this function, the Material Planning intern will develop a POC (Proof of Concept) model to rank the criticalness of the raw material shortage. 
• The GSM VSM intern interfaces actively with various teams in Micron, including teams from Global Supply Management - GSM (Tactical and Supply Chain Planning), Order Management (Customer Sales Support & Order Fulfillment), Sales Business Units, Marketing, Demand Management, Supply Planning. 
• To be a GSM team member, candidates should have an eye to spot what customer wants, and fulfill those customer requirements in time and within budget. Build accurate forecast models and analyze various factors and what-ifs scenarios. 
• The candidate should be a practical person, willing to learn new tools, should be high-on-energy, innovative, creative, humble, persistent, and can pick the right tool for problem-solving (or root cause analysis) effectively.

About you

The requirements for the role are as follows:

• CGPA: 7+/10 
• Qualification: BE/B. Tech, M.Tech/M.SC/Dual, Ph.D., MBA/PGDBM 
• Specializations: Operations/Supply Chain/Logistics

Skills:

• Broad knowledge and experience in lean methodologies, process mapping, Value Stream Mapping, inventory management, theory of constraints, supply chain management, and industrial engineering  
• Above average skills in data handling, data extraction, and analytics. Data visualization skills (Excel, tableau, or power BI) will be a plus. Exposure to SAP/SQL is desired 
• Demonstrated ability to: handle data, analyze it and visualize it. 
• Experience in data handling, data extraction, and analytics.
