Your role

Are you someone who is highly passionate about product growth? If so then you are someone Nbyula is looking for, a passionate and energetic Community Engagement Apprentice who would be responsible for the digital presence of Nbyula and ensuring the smooth functioning of in-app activities to keep users engaged with the platform.

This would be a full-time apprenticeship, you would absorb the functional domain skills, business and market domain knowledge and above all Nbyula’s core organizational values, through an immersive, learn-via-building apprenticeship.

Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations

  • In an endeavour to direct the efforts towards new user activation and satisfaction, investigate what is working and what is not that effective
  • Conducting market research
  • Onboarding supply side users, activating their profiles on the platform, and engaging with them.
  • Arranging and hosting Nbyula talks
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, design, and operations teams) on a regular basis to drive product/process changes and improve business growth
  • Deep dive into qualitative and quantitative data to come up with key insights to scale growth initiatives
  • Work on activating users who are not engaging with the app and improve the retention rate and transaction rate
  • Create and execute an event-driven analytical strategy, build and expand features that help the customers to understand the usage better
  • Analyze customer behavior through data from targeted interviews, feedback, and usability tests and help the company to measure and interpret progression towards the purposes set
  • Optimize a relevant metric by running experiments to identify best possible solutions and measuring outcomes

About you

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong analytical skills, process orientation and good communication skills
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools (Google, FB, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc)
  • Ability to understand different dashboards and build insights (mixpanel, clever tap, firebase, google analytics)
  • Strong ownership, drive, and the experience of working independently in unstructured environments
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams within tight timelines to execute decisions
  • Willingness to experiment and stellar ability to collaborate
  • Camera friendly (This is a user-facing role)
  • Big brownie points if you have worked as a product growth associate with a start-up
