Job Description

• Manual and Automation testing I Experience - 0 to 1 year
• We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for defining test cases followed by finding and reporting bugs.

Technical skills 

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and methodology
• Proven ability to write test cases
• Experience using web based and mobile testing frameworks (ex: Cypress, Selenium WebDriver) 
• Working knowledge of coding languages like Node js and Python
• Experience using project tracking software considered a strong asset (ex: JIRA, Rally)
• Experience using version control systems (ex: Git or Bitbucket) would be considered an asset

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering 
• Additional  technical qualifications, courses or certifications relevant to testing

What you will do

• Understand client requirements and how they translate into the software development lifecycle
• Reviewing software requirements and preparing test cases
• Test cases should include UI, API and at Database level. 
• Perform Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Component and Integration testing. Manual and automation approach as applicable
• Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
• Preparing reports and reporting to the development team.
• Participating in project reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
• Support in creation of technical documents and handbooks
• Be flexible and show willingness to travel 
• Work from client’s location if required
