Your role

Newton School is looking for a creative and driven Content and Social Media Operations Intern to join their dynamic marketing team. You will help in creating and managing content across various social media platforms to enhance their brand presence and engage their audience. Additionally, you will handle day-to-day tasks of content operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely execution.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Write engaging and creative content for the social media channels, including posts, stories, and videos.
• Social Media Management: Schedule and publish content on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance, suggesting improvements.
• Community Engagement: Respond to comments and messages, fostering a positive community and addressing queries.
• Day-to-day Operations: Handle daily tasks related to content operations, ensuring all content is properly organized, scheduled, and executed.
• Research: Stay updated with the latest social media trends and best practices, incorporating them into their strategy.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align content with overall marketing goals.

About you

Education

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Skills

• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Spark, etc.).
• Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
• Some understanding of graphic design is appreciated.
