Junior Data Scientist null

Responsibilities

• Provide data-based solutions to core problems of Education Tech and make Newton School the best learning platform with the help of AI and Machine Learning tools.
• Take ownership of building data modelling pipelines for scalable and continuous systems.
• Closely monitor and provide expertise on creating industry best Data Science curriculum and creating exciting project problem statements and Kaggle like competitions. 

Requirements

• Sharp problem-solving skills with urgency to deliver the best quality products along with an alignment with the long-term vision of the company
• Very good hands-on with python and SQL (PostgreSQL)
• Good working knowledge of backend development in REST Frameworks (Django)
• Good knowledge and hands-on with different Machine Learning tools and modelling frameworks (Pandas, Keras/Tensorflow, sci-kit learn, NLP)
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and present ideas to different verticals and stakeholders. Good written and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Data pipeline and data-science model deployment (Able to learn about queueing services like Kafka etc.)
• Ability to write great documentation
• Ability to make data-driven decisions for any small thing
