Job Description

As part of the global product leadership team, we are looking for someone to develop and enhance Nielsen bases business and client relationships, by supporting the creation and improvisation of solutions in the brand strategy space to enable us to meet the client research
needs more effectively in this space.

Responsibilities

Analytic Consulting

  • Takes the lead in analysing and evaluating brand challenges and business issues and works to effectively support creative solutions and improvisations to address those.
  • This also includes accurately executing solution parameters and accurately capturing impact and implications.
  • Provide support in creating presentations for internal and external stakeholders with a sharp sense of visualisation and effective storytelling.
  • Takes the lead on standard / simple analysis tasks
  • Regular correspondence on simple project-related issues with the clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Provides support for Managers in more complex situations
  • Attends client meetings and presentations, provide appropriate support materials
  • Identifies problems & helps the Manager create solutions
  • Anticipate questions/issues and proactively retrieve necessary data

Commercial Leadership

  • Participates in research proposal and design
  • Gather information about Innovation practice services, attend training
  • Reports and Presentations
  • Accurately prepares topline documents with manager support (1 round of review)
  • Write accurate report drafts incorporating standard sections and formats that address specific project issues and objectives
  • Effectively revise drafts based on edits and comments from the manager
  • Clear, concise writing, answering client business questions with proper grammar and spelling

Project Management

  • Demonstrates ownership of studies and solution seeker mindset
  • Effective, timely & accurate project flow management
  • Collaborative work with commercial teams, DC analysts, product leadership and visualisation teams.
  • Meet internal & external deadlines for all deliverables

Thought Leadership- Integration

  • Knowledge of Core Innovation services
  • Get familiar with all Nielsen assess
  • Should be ready to do background research on theoretical areas as well as for analytic approaches as relevant to the work context
  • Find information about relevant services

Qualifications

  • University degree in Marketing, Economics or related field a must, preferred
  • Postgraduate or MBA
  • 6 months to 1-year experience in Primary Quantitative Marketing Research
  • Knowledge and exposure to more than one market (worked preferably in the international arena/ client-side/ agency side)
  • Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills
  • Very good knowledge of advanced analytics, methods, and tools with strong exposure to statistical techniques.
  • Very good interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen and financial knowledge
  • Awareness of the clients' needs
  • Ability to travel
