Job description

As a Research Executive your responsibility s will be to understand client briefs from internal stakeholders, help seniors to identify the right analytic solutions that will answer client questions, execute them error-free and deliver results internally and when needed externally on time, carry out iterations of the analyses as needed, help build power-point presentations for proposals and compiling analyses insights.

As the Executive grows in experience, the profile will require that he/she starts carrying out the above tasks independently, contributing to building relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, and improving our analytical solutions and value-added insights.

Responsibilities

  • Execute analyses error-free and on time.
  • Carry out multiple standard/non-standard analyses to help build quality and insightful proposals and final insights presentations.
  • Gain a detailed understanding and develop expertise in existing analytical solutions.
  • Always lookout and experiment with different techniques/methods to improve existing solutions.
  • Help in developmental work and exploratory studies by carrying out analyses as planned.

About you

You are an analytical person with a firm grasp of statistics and programming. You can explain complex methods in simpler words to less technical stakeholders. You pay attention to detail and have a proactive approach to checking your work. As you will mostly be working with clients from the Americas, you need to be able to adjust your working schedule to later hours.

Qualifications

  • Degree in relevant fields (statistics, economics, data science …).
  • Proficiency in Python and its data analysis libraries such as Pandas, Statsmodels, and Scikit-learn.
  • Basic SQL.
  • Good English.
  • Knowledge of SAS and R is an additional advantage.
  • Knowledge of big data tools like Spark, and Data bricks is a plus.
