Your role

To add to its strength and fuel its growth, the Company is looking for talents in Mining Statutory positions (Group C posts) for its Lignite/Coal Mines located in Neyveli (Tamil Nadu), Barsingsar Project (Rajasthan) and Talabira-II & III OCP Project (Odisha).

• Selected candidates are liable to be initially posted to the location which the candidates have applied for. However, they will be required to work in any Unit / Area / Place situated in India and abroad under the control of NLC India Limited or in any Joint Venture / Associate / Subsidiary company of NLC India Limited, to which they may be posted.

Salary & benefits

• The monthly pay offered for this role can range from INR 31,000/- to 1,00,000/-, 
• The CTC per annum is 7.80 Lakhs (in INR. Approx.) (Source: NLC)

In Addition to the CTC mentioned above,

• Performance Related Pay / Unified Incentive Scheme (Annually), free Medical treatment for self & dependents, and Group Insurance, as per rules will be provided.
• Eligible types of residential accommodation (unfurnished) will be provided at standard rent in Company Townships subject to availability

About You

To apply for this position, you must have the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification Requirement:

• Diploma in Mining or Mining engineering or other equivalent qualification approved on that behalf by the Central Government and
• Valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 or any certificate in Mining that entitled to work as an Overman as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017 and
• Valid First Aid Certificate.

Note:

• Candidates applying against the vacancies notified for Mines in a particular State should have proficiency in the specified local/regional language i.e., Tamil (for Neyveli Mines in Tamil Nadu), Hindi (for Barsingsar Mines in Rajasthan), Odia (for Talabira Mines in Odisha). In support of local/regional language proficiency, candidates are required to produce an SSLC / 10th Standard / Matriculation certificate as proof of having a medium of study in the local/regional language or having studied local/regional language as one of the subjects.
• The minimum qualifying percentage of marks in the notified educational qualification (Diploma or Degree) in respect of Junior Overman (Trainee) and Junior Surveyor (Trainee) is 60% (Aggregate) for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates and 50% in case of SC/ST candidates against posts reserved
• Age: 30 years (Relaxation applies)
