Your role

As an Apprentice Engineer, you will embark on a journey of professional development and hands-on learning on RRM Projects.

Duties and responsibilities:

 Essentials:

  • Learn and adhere to industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Should be able to understand and interpret technical drawings, P&ID, SLD, System Control diagrams, etc.
  • Basic knowledge at the graduate engineer level in instrumentation and control.
  • Capable of learning and utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as directed by the mentor.
  • Assist in the preparation of project deliverable reports wherever required.

Non-Essentials:

  • Undertake any other training/duties of a reasonable nature as required by Management.
  • Demonstrates a high level of initiative to accomplish individual objectives assigned.
  • Comply with organizational HR policies and procedures.

Safety

  • Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable to ensure a safe working environment.

Others

  • Carry out training/work by the Company's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Systems.
  • Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems of the Company.
  • Eliminate waste of whatever form, suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Supervisory responsibilities:

  •  This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.

Reporting relationship:

  • The apprentice will be reporting directly to the Sr. Manager Management.

This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows. 

  • Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
