Product Tester - Intern null

Your role

As a Product Tester at OpenInApp, your responsibilities include ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. The role involves collaborating closely with the development team to design and execute test plans, identify and report bugs, and enhance testing efficiency through automated tests.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers to understand features and technical implementations.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Perform regression testing, sanity testing, and performance testing.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and quality.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports.
• Continuously improve testing processes and tools.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in QA and testing.

About you

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 months of relevant experience in video editing or a portfolio of freelancing projects.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics software like After Effects is a plus.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Preferred qualifications:

Someone who has prior work experience with the skills mentioned below.

• Graphical User Testing (GUI) for B2C products
• Web and Mobile App Testing (Android and iOS)
• Should have testing experience in cloud-based applications and manual testing in BrowserStack.
• Is proficient in test management software.
• Strong analytic & problem-solving skills for root cause determination & fixing issues. Responsible for ensuring that the issues are resolved.
• Has good written and verbal communication skills, they can communicate clearly.
• To sum it all up, we are looking for a detective who knows where the bugs can hide, even where no one expects them to, and will not rest till the bugs are fixed.
