Your role

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Tax Return filing and Tax remittance for the various states in the USA.
  • Create a Tax account reconciliation package for the assigned Oracle entities.
  • Prepare Tax Adjustments tracker along with data analysis for Sales Tax and Use Tax return filing.
  • Prepare Rollforward Sales Tax reconciliations for assigned states.         
  • Prepare Rollforward Use Tax reconciliations for assigned states.                       
  • Prepare Reports for the Acquired entity's Sales tax and Use Tax return filing.
  • Update Acquisitions with Source Files for all entities.
  • Prepare use Tax Accruals File every month and update Tax rates in Fusion and Vertex Systems.
  • Update return Review Template for all entities - and validate - GL, Prepaymets, CCF balances, sales tax amount, and Acquisitions Amount.
  • Prepare SOX Test 4 Quarterly for SOX controls relates to Exemptions Certificates.
  • Be an integral partner in Oracle's business decisions to enhance shareholder value by providing tax-related advice globally to all business units.
  • Assist with governmental audits, internal audits, and/or fiscal recharges.
  • Ensure the company complies with worldwide statutory tax reporting specifications.
  • Focus areas include transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.
  • Identify international assignment tax issues for employees working in another country.
  • Develop strategies to minimize corporate tax through the use of tax laws and regulations.
  • May be involved with tax implications of mergers and acquisitions.
