Your role

An Information Security Intern is sought for a full-time, 6-month position with the Internal Audit team. This role provides hands-on experience in auditing IT systems, security controls, and network infrastructure while working closely with experienced auditors. It offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills in IT and information security within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct Audits and Assessments:

• Assist in conducting audits and assessments of IT systems, information security controls, and network security infrastructure.
• Participate in the evaluation of IT governance, risk management, and
• compliance related to network security.

Control Testing and Documentation:

• Perform testing of IT, information security, and network security controls.
• Document findings in audit work papers, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.

Vulnerability Identification:

• Assist in identifying vulnerabilities within network security infrastructure.
• Recommend improvements to mitigate risks and enhance security measures.

Collaboration and Compliance:

• Collaborate with IT and network security teams to understand system configurations, security requirements, and compliance measures.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

 Methodology Development:

• o Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies and frameworks specific to IT, information security, and network security.
