A key enabler of success within Philips is the ‘Business Market Combination (BMC) which is the cooperation of Businesses that create products, solutions and services, and local Market organizations that sell these through appropriate sales channels, innovative business models, and risk-sharing partnerships.

The Diagnostic X-Ray (DXR) Global Business Analyst plays a key role in executing this cooperation when it comes to actionable data insights and analytics.

The position we are currently seeking is focusing on the Business Category DXR which is part of the Business Group - Precision Diagnosis Solutions.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Play a pivotal role in driving success for Philips and the DXR by being the key business analytics person to gather actionable insights to support the implementation of the commercial and strategic initiatives of the DXR Business Development Management (BDM) team. In addition, the Business Analyst will lead the data analytics transformation of the department.

You are responsible for

  • Professional to pro-actively support strategy execution by delivering meaningful, accurate and timely reporting & analysis on business performance, thereby supporting relevant stakeholders to make fact-based sound business decisions.
  • Creating actionable insights thru mining the data from different sources and connecting them.
  • Create and maintain SalesForceDotCom dashboards.
  • Regularly update relevant KPIs such as sales funnel, product mix, install base and connect them to other KPIs such as market share, financials, customer service, and demand planning.
  • Deep diving into the data to ensure data quality and process adherence.
  • Supporting the internal stakeholders with data insights on ad hoc requests.
  • Automate and streamline the reporting processes within the Diagnostic X-Ray Business Development Management team, by identifying ways of improvement and leveraging the analytics tools.
  • Act as an agent of alignment by combining multiple data sources into one view.
  • Strong collaboration with the different functions' business/data analysts, s.a. financials, Installed Based, Integrated Supply Chain / SnOP, Customer Service, Market Intelligence.
  • Provide pre-and post-assessment of commercial promotions' impact and ROI.
  • Provide the relevant data to drive performance via Daily Management.

You are a part of

The Business Development Management Team of the Category DXR. You will be working very closely with other team members representing Business development managers, Marketing intelligence, Sales and Market Specialists, Pricing management, finance controllers, and others. The official Reporting will be straight into the DXR Business Development Leader.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor or Master in a relevant area with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a Business Intelligence / Data Analytics / Data Engineering role.
  • Advanced technical skills in Excel, SalesForceDotCom, QlikView, Power BI. Any other relevant experience is a plus, such as SQL, Python, and R.
  • Data visualization, synthesis, and triangulations.
  • Problem-solving skills. Able to find solutions to difficult or complex issues.
  • Driving continuous improvement via new processes and automation.
  • Analytical mindset, able to synthesize different data sources to gain a broader understanding of the needs of customers, and market trends.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bring people together, leveraging the power of Philips independent from organizational structures and reports, developing strong cooperation with peers within the market, cross-business, and cross-function.
  • Globally fluent, and able to function effectively across cultures; Work in a multinational environment with strong personal communication skills.
