Job Description

The role of the Gaming Operations Manager is to work closely with the IndiGG community to ensure the successful deployment of IndiGG assets into new games that IndiGG invests in. The role involves ongoing monitoring of our activities in games and communication across teams to ensure we have the appropriate infrastructure in place to build around each of our partnered games.

Responsibilities

• Lead the GameOps vertical to develop strategy, communicate and execute actionable items.
• Continually optimizing our systems and processes that support deal flow and portfolio company management
• Work closely with the community leaders of partnered games to create the vision and build towards it.
• Perform necessary breeding/forging to produce high-quality assets in partner games we have invested in
• Handle the modus operandi of managing, storing, and distributing assets to scholars and keeping track of data to ensure optimal performance
• Understand the game economies and mechanics, utilize the assets to ensure optimal earning potential across all portfolio games
• Maintain all of the data associated with the managed portfolio for quick analyses and action.
• Help to identify and onboard “Game Ambassadors” from the IndiGG community and from within external Gaming Communities.
• Monitor Game Ambassadors on an ongoing basis
• Progress the Game Ambassador role to elevated roles depending on the game success
• Develop strategies and systems to improve the success of IndiGG in the games it participates in
• Work within the IndiGG core team & IndiGG community to ensure the successful deployment of game projects
• Assist in identifying the distribution of game assets during the lifecycle of a game as it pertains to the need of the community
• Coordinate with the community and the ops team to create efficient asset deployment mechanisms

Requirements

• Demonstrate an understanding of blockchain gaming mechanics and economies.
• Demonstrable experience understanding the current games industry, including a product-level understanding of games systems and economies.
• You must love games, be a player of games, and care deeply about the developers and players of games.
• Responsible, meticulous, and a strong understanding of economic data as it relates to blockchain gaming
• Trustworthy, you will be managing gaming portfolios of significant value
• Understanding of personal security as it relates to wallet & key ownership
• Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit. You will be solidly managed, but not hand-held or spoonfed
• A big fan of data and the ability to identify trends and report on them.
• Ability to create and simulate breeding/staking/other models on a spreadsheet

Skills Required

• Drive: We want people who are passionate about the crypto-gaming industry, and are eager to up-skill and hone their knowledge in the space
• Expertise: Intermediate knowledge of NFT is a prerequisite; an ability to quickly comprehend, evaluate, and critique new ideas is a huge plus

• Independent: Direct experience working in a remote-first environment; and ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a fast-growing team
