Responsibilities

Leverages technical expertise and a strategic mindset to be successful. Has differing percentages of work across analytics & insights, data strategy & activation, platform integration & activation, business & technology innovation, and leadership.

Responsibilities include delivering insights from data sets in digital/media/eCommerce, executing hands-on-keyboard for digital media, activating digital media brand-building platforms to meet the needs of the business (digital presence, social, CRM, DTC, programmatic, etc.), leading and managing new innovation spaces in marketing technology to meet emerging needs in a business (IoT, new data sets, new platforms, etc.), and prioritizing & translating business requirements to systems requirements which also adhere to IT policies and security/privacy mandates. Engages seamlessly across the marketing and media organizations typically at the brand manager and associate brand director level. Typically covers a regional business.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or master’s degree in business/Management Information Systems, Computer/Systems/Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research or Statistics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence others to take action.
  • Able to balance multiple priorities.
  • Good social skills, self-motivated, dynamic with a can-do mentality.
  • Strong enthusiasm and curiosity about the intersection of business and technology.
  • Turning insights into actionable recommendations which will drive business value creation.
  • You must be adept at demonstrating technologies for solving ad hoc business problems, innovating on potential future solutions, and working with technology partners to translate your innovations into robust, scaled, analytic solutions.
  • Should have a good understanding of digital marketing and the AdTech ecosystem
  • Should be able to leverage technology to drive awareness and generate leads across digital media channel

Technical Skills

  • Research and recommend new marketing technology products.
  • Evaluates emerging technologies.
  • Discover trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Play a product manager role for marketing technology products
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Train and support the marketing team in using marketing technology products.
  • Plans execute, and measures experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize the user experience.
  • Leverage strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end consumer experience across multiple touchpoints.
  • Identifies critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels.
  • Collaborates with agencies and other vendor partners.
  • Provides thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
