Your role

About the Team:

• The position is for the RF Software team at Qualcomm, Hyderabad. The RF Software Team is part of the Qualcomm Modem team which is responsible for developing the drivers for the Qualcomm Modem/RF chipsets.
• Develops drivers for the leading RF Transceivers in close collaboration with RF Hardware and Modem/Baseband teams. This is at the core of Qualcomm’s Communication System solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creates, Develops and Optimizes Modem and RF Transceiver and Antenna / RF Front End algorithms and Software modules to improve system performance, Factory yields and RF Testability. 
• Provides RF Driver expertise to investigations of complex Modem/RF issues in a cross-functional Hardware / Software working environment.
• Works closely with the physical layer teams in delivering new features to keep Qualcomm Modem performance competitive in the evolving marketplace.
• Collaborates closely with Modem and RF Systems, Hardware and Test Engineering during all cycles of product development.

Qualification:

• Fresh grads need to have a good understanding of C and/or C++, Software Engineering concepts with a focus on embedded software, scripting languages if applicable (python, etc), Digital/Wireless Communications, ECE fundamentals and RF Theory.
