Acts as the overall coordinator for ensuring compliance of specific line of business, especially:
Establishes controls and compliance framework and governance structure for specific LoB
Plans the overall LoB annual compliance activities. Establishes scope. Develops the annual work plan and monitors the progress.
Coordinates with IRM, Shell Audit, and GRA to determine the scope of compliance and to align LoB direction with respect to IM audits
Coordinates with global and external audit teams. Analyses the result of the audit and oversees recommendations for improvement.
Prepares management report on compliance.
Creates and maintains documents on controls & compliance. Maintains/updates compliance standards and practices based on established processes and in the light of emerging best practices.
Provides advice and guidance on controls and compliance aspects related to information management. Seeks guidance from more experienced or specialised practitioners as required.
